This 1/2-inch hose drain valve includes an On/Off switch to prevent/allow flow through the valve with a 1/2-inch slip (S) on one end and a female garden hose thread (GHT) on the other. The slip end of this valve is designed to fit over a schedule 40 rigid pipe for the pool and spa industry referenced as 1/2-inch with an actual diameter of 7/8-inch.
