Well Connected
The StellarMate X comes equipped with a number of ports to connect your gear and expand your experience. For connecting your astrophotography gear, four USB A 3.0 ports give you fast connectivity between your equipment and command center! A gigabit ethernet jack gives you options in establishing your link to the StellarMate X, allowing you to hardwire the device into your local or internet connected networking system. If you plan on working off the StellarMate X directly however, StellarMate has additionally included two HDMI 2.0 ports for displaying the StellarMate OS desktop environment on a monitor; with a 3.5 mm jack for local audio output. You can expand the 64GB astrophotography data and image space via the microSD slot, which can accept cards up to 2TB in size to ensure you can add plenty of space for the most demanding sessions! Finally, the device features a USB-C port for use with the included AC power supply.

Whether you want a streamlined mobile interface or in-depth stationary command center, StellarMate X has you covered! Available for iOS and Android, the StellarMate app gives you access to your StellarMate X through a high-level interface that gives you easy access to the power pre-installed in the StellarMate OS. For laptop and desktop users StellarMate OS additionally supports control via the Ekos Astrophotography Tool, bringing sleek control to Windows, Mac OS, and Linux! Finally, this system supports control through a desktop environment for a more hands-on approach; accessible either through a monitor and keyboard & mouse or via the included remote connection software!

Compact, Yet Incredibly Capable
The StellarMate X comes in a dovetail-friendly form-factor, able to be bolted on to mounting bars with through holes that can accommodate the included M6 bolts or clamped with the sold separately StellarMate Universal Vixen/Losmandy Clamp. Packed inside this sleek controller however is a capable Intel Celeron CPU and WiFi radio. Paired with double the RAM and storage of the base StellarMate X model—featuring 8GB LPDDR4 RAM and 128GB of eMMC storage—this combination gives the StellarMate the power to run full desktop programs, perform more memory intensive tasks, keep up with demanding cameras, store a large amount of data, and connect to the system wirelessly!

The StellarMate X comes with a 263-page manual that contains a comprehensive break down on the control unit. From detailing the components included with your purchase, to the set up, to the ports, this manual contains everything you need to use your StellarMate X. The manual also includes information on Ekos and EkosLive and how to use it on your Windows, MacOS, or Linux computer.
