ZWO EOS-T2 Adapter for ASI Cameras
This EOS-T2 adapter is ZWO’s second generation of EOS adapters and comes with an improved locking mechanism!
The ZWO EOS-T2 adapter is made to connect the Canon EF lens to ZWO ASI cameras. It does not adjust, but the locking mechanism has been improved since the first generation of the adapter.
ZWO has designed this adapter to include two parts: the EOS-T2 adapter and a 5 mm T-2 extender. You can also use the adapter with a 2″ IR-CUT filter.
When using the adapter without the 5mm extender, the EOS-T2 adapter works with cameras that have a 17.5mm backfocus. Examples of suitable cameras with 17.5mm backfocus are as follows:
- ASI Cooled Cameras
- ASI174
- ASI294
- ASI183
- ASI1600
- ASI533
- ASI2600
When using the adapter with the 5mm extender, the ZWO adapter works with cameras that have a 12.5mm backfocus. Examples of suitable cameras with 12.5mm backfocus are as follows:
- ASI120
- ASI224
- ASI290
- ASI178
- ASI385
